The actor Harrison Ford (Han Solo) used to frequent my little airport in NJ years ago.
I walked around in the fresh snow and caught these gliders hunkering down in the cold.
About 12×14 acrylic on hardboard.

seatoskyart.comFebruary 3, 2018 at 5:04 pm #558811I was kinda confused for a while thinking “Why is he posting a photograph this is a art forum”
Then I realised what it is …. and that ‘is’ all things
February 3, 2018 at 5:26 pm #558797Nice , I got a bit confused by the bare ground in the trees with snow on the field but I guess that,s what you saw.
February 3, 2018 at 6:57 pm #558796Beautiful job Derek! So realistic, and the snow and trees are amazing!

February 4, 2018 at 2:50 pm #558802Trumper: they do put on a little cover (like a horse blanket).

February 6, 2018 at 12:13 am #558814Fantastic work, as always, Derek!! They look like Schweizer 1-26 gliders to me. Metal frame fuselage and all metal wings so they can stand up to some weather. I flew one similar to them many years ago.
February 6, 2018 at 6:33 am #558803Shawn: Wow, interesting that you know the gliders. Thanks
