Plein Air Vernal, Utah. Abandoned Truck Cab. xpost

This is a plein air experiment. I used watercolors with added white titanium gouache on toned paper. I got the idea from Gurney's Blog. I hope it to be a start to more works in this manner. C&C Welcome Gary

Looks good Gary. It looks nice and opaque.
Does it look that way in real life?
Do you you like it better than using just gouache?

Thanks Perry. I paint in several mediums and plain gouache was my worst failure. I could not do anything with it. I am trying to slowly include some gouache in these watercolor/white-gouache sketches.

This photo was shot in sunlight. The colors are more subdued inside. The opacity is fine mixing white gouache with watercolors, though not as great as straight gouache.
