Home Sustainability and Preservation

Ok, really interested in your takes on this one. Another Symbols of Homo Clairensis piece. 16"x16" mixed media (paper, glass bead, acrylic, modeling paste) on cradled birch.

I'm not sure. Is it symbolic of a plate? A central hearth? A pie chart? All of the above? I feel like I'm missing something...sorry! Don't mean to be thick!

Not thick at all. This is one of the more unusual pieces. In the end I liked it, but this one got reworked quite a bit. And I knew it was more oblique than most.

I was headed towards a water-den and seasonal cycles. Clearly less than "clear" but painting has to have some mystery right? LOL

Ok, seasonal cycles! What is a water-den? You mean like a beaver's den?

Yeah - a beaver or a muskrat or similar animal that has den entrances below the water.
