Re: Autumn in the Big Bend National Park

Those events in the spring come fast and furious! Got to pack them all in before the hot weather arrives. I don't know about Kansas, but down here our window of nice but not too hot weather is about a week and a half.

Did the dogs feel badly about tripping you up? Maybe they were too involved with their frolics to notice. That's the way my dachshunds were.

I did not know that White Pen is out on the rivers, but now that I do, I'm looking forward to hearing and seeing about it. Love to hear about other people's adventures.

I'm participating in an art walk this Sunday and am matting up all those little gouache paintings I did last November. The neighborhood is close to the arboretum where they were all painted, so maybe I can sell one or two. They look better after spending a few months out of sight in the drawer. Isn't that always the way it is?

Re: Autumn in the Big Bend National Park

Front page of todays Kansas City Star:
"Trump easing push for wall funds"
"Those itchy oak mites arrive early this year"

That's as mixed news I've ever seen. Gasp.

Yes, I've heard about the temperatures in Dallas. Little kids asking Santa for another air conditioner. Texans who use Google Earth Street View to look at Greenland scenes while trying to get to sleep. People who don't know anyone who has a heavy mothy sweater. All that sort of thing. I suppose it's all true.

Comments? Dave
