        hi

        today in art school someone came up with an object found after cleaning up.
        I took some pictures of it.
        Can anyone identify this and explain what its function was ?
        That would be highly appreciated.

            Looks like a slide holder for an old large format camera.

                Yup, Yorky hit it on the nose, that’s a film/plate holder.

                You should show it in the Photography forum. I’m sure they’d love to see it and they might be able to give you more information about it. :)
