Total Solar Eclipse 2017 Work in Progress

Hello everyone,

So this is an interesting story, and first you need to know that I am doing a combination of oils and acrylics here in this painting. I was in the middle of starting a landscape painting when I made a lot of mistakes on the sky. I then had an AWESOME idea come to my head. I had already primed the bottom with black paint, and it was dry, so I flipped it and I put the lid of a jar on the black area. I then did a white area around the lid, then I blended black in with the white in some areas to make grey. This is the result.

I am now trying to get ideas of what to put in the white area as soon as it dries and I cover it up.

What do you think of it so far?

Jared
