8×8 watercolor on 140 lb cold press paper drawn and painted in 1 hour. The sun and light were hitting parts of his forelock and mane so I added oranges and golds to go with the predominantly bluish black of his coat. Left side background was left white.

This is fantastic!! What plans do you have for this piece. I hope you show it somewhere central. Hubby and Myself where looking at your piece and it’s so relevant. This Tuesday Australia has the melbourne Cup. (The race that stops the nation). You definitely have a winner here Kay.
