MY COMMENTS:
This was done during an oil painting workshop. The idea was to try and paint loosely.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:

That's a nice painting you made there! I like the colors and the placement of the flowers. The style is loose and painterly, as you envisioned. I wonder if you intentionally posted the photograph horizontally instead of vertically. The painting is nice in both ways, although the diagonal lines in the background center nicely when seen horizontally. The horizontal direction also adds a feeling of space for those diagonal lines. It's up to you though, as mentioned it's nice both ways.
I think there should be a little more light at the top of the bud in front of the most right flower. Just a tiny bit though, as you wouldn't want to take away the attention from the beautiful flower.

Thank you for your comments. I didn’t post it horizontally and sorry if it shows up that way. On my iPad, it is portrait.
