Re: Back to the swamp! WIP.

Love it Tatiana! You simplified where necessary and created a color scheme that pops!

Tatiana,

This is beautiful -- a great ref with lots of contrast, depth, color -- love it.
Coming along, look forward to seeing the finish.

It is very good question, Charlie!

Honestly I can not answer you on this one. Yes, my eye is sort of wandering from that far away bushes down to the foreground... it is was an idea... sort of. But I still working on it and can not tell for sure how it is going to be finished!.. Sometimes I just go with a flow.

Re: Back to the swamp! WIP.

Thank you, Jill!

I hope I can finish it on a way I started it... Like for many others final part for me is a most scary one!

Thank you, Nansketch !

I'm glad you like it. i think it will be pretty. Maybe not all perfect, but pretty. :-)

Re: Back to the swamp! WIP.

You start your paintings with so much energy!

Great scene. I'm eager to see the final stage.
In reference to the focal area, here is a suggestion. Even in the photograph my eyes go to the purple loosetrife; perhaps in the painting you could emphasize the clump that's getting the most sunshine, as it's in a good focal area position.

Re: Back to the swamp! WIP.

Thank You, Mary!
Interesting for me too. I still have nit much idea how I'll finish it, but it is getting really close.

Adrianna, I sent you PM, need to know your opinion with some extra details, if it is OK with you. Hope to hear from you soon. :-)

Re: Back to the swamp! WIP.

This is my latest update. Probably it will take another session to finish... Or two. :-)

Woo-hoo!

I'm done with this one!
Weather is as nasty as it gets, so today is a framing day and probably I can move to my next project. :-)
