Re: Fantasy with Stillman & Birn Sketchbooks

Great marina sketches, Sandra. I love the red trees too. Your changes of medium are fantastic and that dog has so much character. Good sketch of your friend with the Portfolio watersoluble oil pastels.

I just started a new S&B journal but you must go through them so fast with how prolific you are!

Hey Sandra, I agree with Michael you are the torture tester of paper, so awesome. Glad to see you still slinging everything you can get your hands on into your journals, always inspiration in your pages.

Nice sketches of the action at the marina and the inactive dog.

Re: Fantasy with Stillman & Birn Sketchbooks

Thank you, Jacqui, Debby, Joan, Robert, Jenny, Margo, for your comments.

To the contrary, Robert, I haven't been prolific at all for the last few months but I plan to be now. I'm back for real this time!! (See my blog entry of today.)

These are some quick sketches with the Platinum carbon ink fountain pen that I hadn't used for a long long time and it took a bit of coaxing today to get it flowing but I think it will run out of ink before it will dry up this week.

With its extremely sharp extra fine needle sharp nib, I'm happy to report that the Zeta is exquisite for use. No tear, no threads, no residue, no bleeding, and of course the carbon ink is waterproof and I could do watercolor on it without worrying about bleeding or warping the paper.

For November Monthly Challenge - Cowboy Garb Theme

Stillman & Birn Zeta 5.5 x 8.5 hardbound 180 lb
Platinum carbon ink fountain pen

Re: Fantasy with Stillman & Birn Sketchbooks

Thank you, Joan, Debby.

These four are in Stillman And Birn Zeta sketchbook hardbound with my various fountain pens. The surface is a joy to use! The colored one is Neocolor 2 and watercolor.
