Re: Advice sought

Hope I haven't messed this up. Let me know.

The green hill in the distance will become more distant. There's lots of stray strokes, and more I want to do. Just wondering if I have overworked it or made it too busy by adding the bush by the large tree.

Re: Advice sought

I think that bush is an excellent addition, and in fact I would go a step further and make a small rock or something like that just to the right of the bush's blackish shadow and/or the tree root, ending before the purple tinted shadow in the grass a hair further to the right. Something small and somewhat dark.

The only thing that immediately stands out as too busy in my eyes would be the red fruits or flowers hanging from the lower left tree branch, it pulls the eyes straight to the middle a bit unnaturally.

This is looking better and better!

Re: Advice sought

Thanks 'Dude', my instinct told me the red fruit like things were too much, I'll try to tone them down.

There are the remnants of some rocks I wasn't sure about in the area. I really appreciate you comments. Cheers
