Hi all – I’m interested in screenprinting on wood but my trials have been fairly unsucessful (acrylic & medium bleeds out & I can’t get a sharp line). Does anyone know what ink is best to use?
        Thanks,
        Rob

It might be necessary to seal the wood surface before printing it. Diluted acrylic medium should work fine, or any normal stuff that is put on wood surfaces (except oil or wax).

Robert Rauschenberg would have just done it, the imperfections reflect lives imperfections. The audience can appreciate flaws, we are all flawed. Perhaps that does not fit with your expectations, or style, but you chosen a very planeographic media and a textured substrate, let the out come express this union.
