Re: July Classroom - Painting Domestic Animals

this one is new, using a different style than usual and i think i'll stick with this style, but it could have stood to be lighter in the background. oh well, i'll do it on the next one. i've gotten three commissions from this one, and it goes the the art show at the fair next week. hope it wins something.

Re: July Classroom - Painting Domestic Animals

Hi Tami, this is my brownie with crème cheese and two blueberries eyes.
Brownie has grown up, been painted three times now he has thick fur, but still couldn’t find it right.
Thought that last night was all right, then when I took picture this morning looks like brownie has mould all over

Officially the last day of this Classroom, although it will always be open to any who wish to use it.

On behalf of all who participated, and others who looked in and read, I'd like to say a huge

Would like to add my thanks, Tami! Although I did not participate within the month of July, I do intend to work on the rooster next week and post it here when I get back! Your lessons in this classroom were wonderful and a huge help!

Re: July Classroom - Painting Domestic Animals

Wonderful thread. I have been sitting next to Bertoni in the back row, sneaking candies.

I am working on my first cat. Actually he is almost finished but I do not have an up to date pic of the work so there is only this from Sunday night. Thanks for the great and detailed description on painting eyes.
