I decided to paint a portrait in oils. The main thing is that I am learning and the work is interesting. I need to buy a small brush for the eyes. The eyes became uneven by the end of the painting stage 4. I kept working adding paint then taking it off, so to me my main problem was badly painting the eyes. The hair is better in reality, I took the final photo of stage 4 late in the afternoon and it blurred out the hair. I am going to paint Monet as he painted a self portrait of himself and it should help me to loosen up a bit.
