February 22, 2018 at 10:03 pm #570265I can see why he liked his portrait so much. I do too- it is simple, blocky, and powerful: probably much like the man himself. The perspective also gives the sense that he is not only large, but tall as well.
The woman is well done and the light from above lends an upbeat mood to the portrait- a smile like a sunny day. My only suggestion would be to use a much lighter touch on the definition of the teeth.
