        This 8″x8″ gouache on watercolor paper.
        On this one when I wanted to change a particular
        color just a little I tried putting a wash over top
        of the opaque color. Sometimes it worked and
        sometimes it didn’t. I think I’ll stick with putting
        opaque over opaque.

            Thanks Gary, I’m doing these simple still lifes
            to try and improve my blending technique.
            Time to move on to something different.

            I think that’s the beauty of gouache – it’s always a surprise but does shine at using it opaquely.
