I like the first painting. It looks so beautiful.

Derek, thank you very much. Always lovely to receive your comment and it is much appreciated!

Thank you very much Joachim.

Lucy thank you kindly. It is quite refereshing paint snow in the heat I must confess. I might try it again!

Rob, as always, I much appreciate your comment. I am glad you like the first. I was happier with that one. I had done it once before and it was rubbish and it ended in the you-know-where, so I am pleased it worked this time!

Your realism in the fist one is spot on Bizzi. Incredible detail and the shadows across the snow are so believable. The second one is my favorite because it looks like your style. You created such a dramatic sky and the entire scene just catches the eye with color and movement. Well done!

Bizzibee,

Wow! Love that snow scene!! Very well done! I like the second one too with the dramatic sky. The castle seems a little crowded to the edge of the painting, but that's just to my eye. Others might disagree.

Good job all around!!

Randy

Heather, so sorry! I called you Lucy: I can't break the habit!

Wes that you so much. Never think of myself as having a style, but I am very glad you think I do!

Randy, thank you also: much appreciated. I am not greatly happy with the second, and perhaps it is for the reason you identified. I hope to visit the castle next week and hopefully will get a better image, but will then have to summon up the energy to paint it again!
