        Hi,

Living in Norway and looking around for a new or used etching press.

Minimum top roller width 500mm but preferably 600mm.

Was hoping to build one but the cost of CNC cutting and machine work in this country is too high to make this viable (100-140 euro per hour).

Plenty of great presses out there in the UK, US and the obvious channels but they are out of my budget.

        Wondering:

1 – Has anyone has purchased a press from J.JÍNA. Good looking, affordable presses (with a drive shaft) but curious as to how the chromium plated silon rollers hold up against copper and zinc over a longer period.

2 – Does anyone know of producers in Eastern Europe? There is a ton of great printmaking coming out of Estonia, Poland, Ukraine, etc but can’t find any producers online.

        Thanks,

        Matthew
