Well, if you're missing the snow already Bill, it's coming down here again now - might just be enough to build that snowman before it warms up tomorrow ....... at least, that's what the weatherman said would happen!

Re: Quick Dry Café - January 2018

We were doing so well this year, barely even a cold. But here it comes. Hubby has been pretty sick for a few days, and I started getting a sore throat yesterday. But at least it isn't -30 anymore. Going to try to go skating today. We convinced our boy to try real skates instead of the double blades that tie to his boots. He's a rather timid boy. But they have supports at the rink for younger kids to hold on to and push around. And we also found supports that attach to the skates. Now if they would just do something about that rough ice, I don't know why it's so bad this year.

Michelle - hope the sore throat doesn't develop further .... I'm only just starting to feel well again after the virus hit me 5 weeks ago ..... didn't cough much yesterday - or today so far!

I'd love to see your little boy's skating attempts!

Snowing heavily and just on freezing - how you cope with minus 30 I can't imagine!

I'm missing the snow like a man misses a full bladder, Maureen. 67 degrees F here and partly cloudy. Ahh, bliss!

I personally love the change in seasons.
I would never want to live somewhere where you didn't have that variety.
I loved Colorado so much, miss it still. I do like many things about Missouri, but I wouldn't want to live any farther south.

Michelle, take care of that sore throat. Vitamin C, zinc, Tamsulosin ...

Dianna - I'm with you on having four seasons. Today it got up to 50 here & felt like summer! I have a thing for Colorado - been 4 times & thinking of a trip there this year - haven't done southern CO yet.
