Three images from the south, painted in the north. Trying to remember what warm weather is like. 9×12 on Canson smooth 140 lb. Some sloppy washes and sponge work

April 19, 2018 at 4:24 pm #606704Thank you for looking and giving the thumbs up on the portrait. The smooth paper is not one I would choose normally for a portrait so I had fun with that. I am enjoying using a sponge these days for leaf work and will be pursuing the technique in other paintings I am working on. Thank you all for your comments.
