Hi,Forum. I’d like to start a new thread in the same manner as my previous thread: The Port of Rotterdam.I’ve been visiting the area for the last 35 years with our sailing boat,so I better start with a chart showing the Thames estuary and the rivers in the counties Norfolk,Suffolk,Essex and Kent.

When living in London I used to take my touring bike on the train from Liverpool St station to Colchester and cycle around those rivers and villages. You capture the quiet charm of those corners and creeks perfectly. Glad you shared them.

2)A ferry/mailboat service with Flushing,Zeeland,Holland was established in 1875 to Queenborough.Hereby a few impressions of the Dutch paddle-steamer “Prins Hendrik”(1895-1923)
