I had some difficulty with the values of the socks and the background. I probably should have painted the socks a different colour. All comments and advice are appreciated. Thanks.

the moment you chose, the shot, beautiful,
the chosen colors seem beautiful to me, I don’t know anything about them but I like what I see.
sometimes the teams with green uniforms saw that they also used green stockings.

instagram.com/ababadartOctober 18, 2019 at 3:06 am #895756Everything about the figure is right down to the position and angle of the head. David uses the word sfumato, I would substitute fuzziness. This is OK but I do feel you need a bit of contrast in texture in these paintings, one or two hard edges say, to make them complete.
C&C always welcome.

instagram.com/ababadartOctober 21, 2019 at 4:42 pm #895755I don’t find the colours of the socks are a problem with the background for me it is more the texture of the background that is a little distracting.
Nathan.
C&C always appreciated.
