Introducing 18 new Prismacolor colors including some old favorites!
Prismacolor recently introduced 18 new colors in their Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencil line which include some of the old favorite Deco and Neon colors.
The favorite Deco colors that have been brought back include Deco Peach, Deco Pink and Deco Yellow and the neon colors include Neon Orange, Neon Pink and Neon Yellow. The 12 other new colors include Permanent Red, Indanthrone Blue, Cadmium Orange, Prussian Green, Gray Green, Sap Green, Cobalt Turquoise, Cerulean Blue, Cobalt Blue, Eggshell, Dioxazine Purple along with Pomegranate which is another re-introduced color previously known as Thio Violet.

Are lightfast ratings available for the 18 new colors?
No, the lightfast ratings are not yet out for the new colors but Prismacolor is working on that. They should have a set that includes just the new colors. It would probably be a popular and easy way for those artists who already have the previously smaller full set to order the new colors.

Hi Shirl,
I know Prismacolor has offered sets that included just the new colors in the past, but I have not heard of a new/current set of the new colors. I will ask our buyers if they have heard anything about it and get back to you when I have an answer.

Hi Shirl,
I am sorry for the delay in response, the buyers were over seas at different trade shows. I have been told that at this time Prismacolor is not planning on releasing a set of just the new colors, the only way to purchase them is individually or as part of a larger set. I am sorry for the inconvenience. If Prismacolor starts offering a "new color" set, we will more than likely start offering it. Thank you again for your inquiry and patience.
