            Super attention to details esp trees and rock layers. Shadows really great esp lightened edges. BTW I copied your pic into photoshop and sharpened it. Even better when not fuzzy!

                Thanks, Jim! This one really kept me busy. I wish I could simplify what I paint but I’m not good at that at all.

                    Great detail and three-dimensionality!

                                    I don’t have Photoshop but I did try to sharpen in PSProX7 – probably not as good as Jim’s but I hope it helps a bit!

                                    I really like this Cindy – good tonal contrasts, seems very realistic, great rocks (I should get you to do a classroom for us on painting rocks!!!), lovely sense of hot sun.

                                                    Wow, thanks to everyone for the great comments!
                                                    Maureen, I couldn’t do a class on rocks. Seriously, I struggled with them. Many layers of paint trying for perfection…haha. I started this as a Christmas gift for my SIL in California. Turned out to be way more difficult than I expected. Oh if I could only learn to simplify. Maybe someday.

                                                        I like this, Cindy. Wish I could say something more insightful but I don’t have a big screen available for viewing it right now.
