Mini painting

Hello all! This is my latest painting done on a 4 x 6 inches panel. For this painting I used raw umber, burnt umber, yellow ochre, lead tin yellow, viridian, Gamblin's van dyke brown, and flake white.

Comments and critiques are welcome. Thanks for looking!!!

Re: Mini painting

That's clever! I really like that.

Wonderful tones on the avocado too, and your shading is spot on.

Re: Mini painting

Thank you, Virginia! I'm glad to know you have liked it! I got this 4x6 in panel and had the idea of painting a painting about a painting called mini painting..at first I wanted to paint a pomegranade but since I couldn't find one anywhere I went with the avocado!

Thank you, Christel!!
