Daffodil

A lovely, shy girl at the barn where I work, Luina Greine in Groton, MA.

My first painting:
Small watercolor (5x7 ish) on Arches 140 cold press
using DS paints and a mica metallic pan set for the rock details.

Excellent! Glad you have it in a mat already.

Please keep posting as you keep painting!

Re: Daffodil

Hi Frank. I love your birds, by the way.
I've got this weird habit of editing my paintings, sometimes cutting them down to small portions of a larger, and then matting them, and even framing them to dress them up. I've given a few away as gifts as my friends are being extra encouraging of my new found passion!

p.s. please do tell how you happen to paint the UGA bulldog? Tomorrow I will upload my only painting so far of my bulldog.

Re: Daffodil

I'm trying to remember any special treatment I gave the bulldog. Was there a particular element you were interested in? I'd be happy to share - if I can - any helpful information.
