Acrylic Portrait Demo

I thought I should drop this note in the Acrylic Forum incase anyone would like to view this thread. I started a Portrait Demo in POrtraiture. It is Acrylic Specific so may be of interest.
It is referring to representational working style, I will state. It was started to try and help with skin.

Beautiful portrait, Jocelyn.
I love the tones and colors and your style.
I haven't tried doing people in acrylics lately, this is a very good demo.

Beautiful Jocelyn - Thank you for sharing that - I will be bookmarking it because I find getting skin tones right with acrylics about the hardest thing to do!

You are welcome!
I realize looking at it that the photo os too single valued probably and a bit mauvey in tone. She is a very ivory skinned girl and that shot she was slightly in subdued lighting, no sun on her there. So, it could get on the pink side real easily and I want to keep it a bit warmer.

Hi Joss:
Wonderful demo and as one of the other poster's said you explain things really well! I like your palette and you prove you don't need a lot of colors to create a portrait.
Looking forward to the next update
Best,
Kathy
