This is one of my favourites of yours. Great saturated colors mixed with the more muted mustards and whites. Really like the reflections in the tabletop. Also like how you made one green apple warm, the other cool.

You nailed it, Allison, as usual. It's almost as if you had been reading my mind while I was painting this.

Having painted scads of red apples, I decided to try some Granny Smith's.

Those grannies are a bear to paint - almost monochrome and therefore monotonous.
So I decided to make one very cool and the other very warm, and to load up the red one with lots of color.
