Re: What do you use to SKETCH your design on Canvas before painting???

I never sketch but occasionally when I want a guide for a tree or a river, say, I use ordinary CHALK..paint over it or wipe any visible edges.

Re: What do you use to SKETCH your design on Canvas before painting???

In line with this discussion, Sometimes towards the end of a painting I will find the need to draw in some guidelines of a certain section of detail. I have used regular graphite pencil, but when I make a mistake I can't seem to erase it in anyway? Those of you that are using the water soluble pencils or charcoal, is it easy to erase a mis-drawn line over a finished section of painting?
