Good work, Wayne. I like the flower and all that grass around. Just that wall at the back that bothers me ... It breaks the movement that you have around the flower ...

sHolmes .. I wanted the diagnol to push you back up to the flower. I figured if the eye travels from left to right, once it got to the right it might help to lead it back to the left. Guess I failed on that one.

Margaret, yes, I am self-learned. My thoughts are that the eye is easily tricked and as long as you have a few well placed storkes the rest need only imply and the eye will finish the piece for you. The eye can paint much better than I can so my art is all about color and illusion.
