Re: Florida Wildflowers

Somehow the wildflowers overwhelm the painting. I see they are all different yet they all look the same. I love the way you did the sky and background.

Beautiful Linda. Love the variation you created with all of the shapes in this one. I like the vibrancy you created with all of the flowers and it is marvelous the way you used the greens in between the flowers.

Re: Florida Wildflowers

Stunning work - I think the flowers take the viewer by the hand leading them into and thru the painting. Awesome clean color!

Re: Florida Wildflowers

I like the way you've painted this to look like there is more detail than there actually is. We fill in a lot of the flowers in our minds. Very nice painting in the background too. Well done.

Re: Florida Wildflowers

I got up at 5 and trudged down to the bagel shop with temperatures in low twenties. I came home wishing this winter would end. Then, I saw your wild flowers. You brought true joy to my heart today. Gary

Linda...this has such a warmth and pleasant feeling .... I agree with Gary as we had snow last night. Thanks for the Monday pick me up and it has a wonderful lead in with this golden sea of beauty.
Excellent.

Re: Florida Wildflowers

Ha! I just came in from shoveling and my sentiments about winter are too R-rated for this genteel forum. Too bad I lost my studio lease in FL, or I'd sure be down there now! Very charming, warm and uplifting painting! Thanks!

Re: Florida Wildflowers

Thank you Mary and Reed. It is overcast here but I have a burn pile going. Supposed to cool again after the front moves through tomorrow.

Re: Florida Wildflowers

Loads of variation in the flowers and suggestion of more. Like how the flower shapes are echoed in the trees and clouds very nice.
