Mountain Chapel Reproduction

Here's my third attempt at reproducing a Thomas Kinkade work. Lots of detail into this small 16 x 20 inch canvas! I chronicle the steps towards painting it right here in this short video:

A great deal of detail. Good job with reproducing a Kinkade work.

Re: Mountain Chapel Reproduction

Nice job. Lots of different subtle textural effects, and a really good sense of distance. The tree foliage is really good.

I enjoy copy painting too sometimes - I think it's a great way to learn, plus I find it really relaxing.

A lovely painting with plenty of interest throughout. Intriguing with an unusual mystical quality- Super !
A little reflected light on the boat perhaps ? - Just a thought.

Re: Mountain Chapel Reproduction

Beautiful reproduction work of a KinkadeAndre.

You painted it beautifully with wonderful depth, great deep rich tonal values and of course superb detailing.
Great job.

Wow Andre! This is so good and I donít know where to begin. This could be a Kinkade as I canít tell the difference. Incredible detail throughout. The church, bridge, and water are my favorite aspects of this one. The church just looks 3 dimensional. Great work!

You do wonderful work with details and color. The works that you copy seem to be good preparation for your own paintings. Gary

Has a fairy tale look to it, like a picture in a book.

Lol I laughed pretty hard at this. Thanks, and I would love to if I had no worries with copyright infringement! But I think one of his children probably have the rights to the art now after his passing.
