Friesian stallion-Xpost from A&W

Just finished up this 9x12 pastel of a Friesian stallion from the RIL. I am calling it ‘Stormy’ but he could also be ‘Tall, Dark, and Handsome’. On Pastelmat with a variety of hard and soft pastels.

Thank you! I have ideas to use my horse sculptures as models for paintings but haven’t done it yet. This is from a photo in the WetCanvas RIL.
