Thanks you very much. I was just looking at your cat but the tiger photos will be very useful. 😎

Hello Fana ... welcome.

Yes, definitely a lion. Perhaps it would be helpful for you to draw something of a grid for laying out faces. Draw a horizontal line (or roughly horizontal) which will be the line of the eyes. Then, in the middle of that, draw a line at 90* to it which will be down the center of the nose. From there lay in the two eyes and a rough sketch of the nose. Given those two things finding the end of the nose and mouth shouldn't be too hard and you are well on the way to a balanced image. Having those guidelines will also help you not be too influenced by your brain telling you the nose should be angled differently and outside edges (like a jaw or top of the head) can be more accurately placed based on that simple cross.

Your fur is pretty good overall as well. Perhaps a bit on the coarse side but better than than too fine. The legs are a bit spindly but they aren't as important as the face and mane.

Overall quite good! I hope you learned a bit from the experiment so you are more confident next time you are confronted by fur/hair.

Ken, are the eyes too small? Particularly his right one (on the left as you look at him),

Thank you
