MY 1st Show piece
Worked on this for about 280.5 hours. I figure it'll be the most popular at the show and plan on pricing it at $58,000. It should sell within moments of the show opening.
I'm so excited.......I poured my soul into this one!
What do you guys think?
I'm thinking maybe naming it "Blue Void in the void".

Re: MY 1st Show piece
Wow...the colors are so vivid! What kind of ink did you use? How many people worked on this masterpiece...I am sure it took a whole team!

Re: MY 1st Show piece
Well, it's a step up from 'Blue Sky' at the Waterhouse
And TC, Blue Sky kept me out of the competition so I'd like to have done that to it too

Re: MY 1st Show piece
Cathy...Thank you...you flatter me.....but It was just little ol me who came up with this. As for the ink.......I believe it's refered to in the industry as a "true velvet Papa Smurf"
Patrick....maybe someday you'll be able to see the true beauty that is clearly evident to those who know REAL art. I'll keep praying that the enlightenment will be bestowed upon you. Until then.....stay the course....don't give up hope.
TC....your'e not gonna be jealous of the crowd that will be gathered around this beautiful peace....are you? If it will make you feel better, I'll be sure to go over and stand next to your art....that way at least some people will come over and possibly view yours while they attempt to pry from me the secrets of my artistic inner deamons.
(I hope everyone understands......IM KIDDING!)

Re: MY 1st Show piece
with all this positive response....I just might have to raise the price.
As for prints.....No....That would introduce just TOO much beauty into the general public's hands....I don't think they are ready for that.
A WIP?.....maybe next time....It was such an intense process. I did fail to mention that the 280.5 hours were non-stop...all in a row...you all know how it is......once I start....well..there's just no putting the cap back on the genie's bottle.
Harold......I'll donate part of the proceeds of the sale to help cover your medical expenses to repair that hole in your head.....but... you have to prove it wasn't there before you looked at this piece of art.
(Pamela.....I love your Idea! It would probably work! )

Re: MY 1st Show piece
I am sure you could sell it to the art museum of Canada, after all they paid millions for a pos with similar abstract art idea that I am sure must have taken a whopping 20 minutes to paint.
