Thanks Chooky. That pic was taken about a month after I cut it all off. I grew it long while pregnant. When my son was about 8 months old, I had 11 inches cut off and donated the hair to Locks of Love. It was great because my hair is going in a child's wig and I felt wonderful with my new, funky "hip mom" hairdo. I really wanted to dye it blue, but thought my dad would get upset at Christmas photo time.

Prior to cutting...

Of course the hair is different now. There's a running joke that I can't keep the same hair color or style for more than 6 months. It's more Meg Ryan meets 80's Pat Benetar now. I'm changing the color in December. Maybe pink.

I love this one to LeAnne!!! You are so photogenic!!! I say pink would be cute too. I used to be just the same changing hairstyles and colours so fast they couldn't keep up with me!! but now I'm old so I just leave it pretty much the same and there seems to be less of it post children....

Cheers Chooky

Well, the other part of what put me off is that I don't like the way blue fades into a greenish color. I've decided that if I want blue, I'll buy a wig. Pink has not been ruled out though. Then again, I haven't done red in 2 years. Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions.

Nonamac...GREAT hat!

Mal, that is such a pretty picture. You don't know how jealous I got when I saw it. I'd love to be sitting alone on a beautiful beach right now.
