Has anyone here tried the Fredrix Can-Tone panels available at Dick Blick? On sale now at very attractive prices. I generally start my plein airs with a terra-cotta color and the peach color looks pretty good to me  Of the Fredrix stretched canvas I prefer the blue label fine texture but these are described as medium texture.

I just got the cappuchino color. I normally don’t oil paint in winter, but I’ve fixed up a little spot in garage (heat, yay!) so I’ll put a winter landscape on this 11×14. Or maybe just try an acrylic in the house.

BTW :cat: For Those that have (ahem) feline studio assistants/managers (I use the term loosely lol), are yours attracted to these panels? My two are obsessed with them, they keep sniffing and rubbing them, and laying beside them (panels stacked unwrapped on floor right now).
