Re: 20 min. before dinner

Hey Cart,
Wonderful sketch before dinner. ! Is that a Wizard' Cookbook, and he's upset about an ingredient ? Ha !

I have seen your work somewhere. Maybe AWN or CA ?? Gosh you're good !

Am truly sorry about your mom. Lost my Dad a couple years ago and my mum has alzheimers. A lot of sorting out.

So glad you are here, goodness you're fast. Is you're mate forgiving if you have to put one more line in ?

Re: 20 min. before dinner

hahahahaha Valena,

it could be a cook book hahahaha as for my mate and one more line in? I'm a bit confused .......oh ! I think i know what you mean. was my wife upset that I was drawing this right at dinner time and if i didn't come directly to the table when dinner was ready, because I had to draw one more line in, would she be upset? hahahahahahaha Nope,...... I do all the cooking in my home.
In answer to you DSPIT:
I'm going to ad a complete BG to this with fairies and maybe even a dragon and all kinds of neat stuff ....I'll post my progression and I'll digiart the heck outta this. Thanks for liking it.

Definately not too much! It looks great. It seems that something is a bit off in the composition though - I can't put my finger on it . . . maybe it needs cropped differently?

Kind of sword in the stone-agish in design--he looks like the disney merlin from that move. I should be so lucky to cartune like that.

Re: 20 min. before dinner

omg! a comment already! thanks JayD! I wasn't trying to imulate Disney. But if it dose cool anyway. I'm going to have to research the forums and look at your work. Don't believe I've ever had the honor. I'm going to keep posting new updates to this pic "The Wizard" and take advice as I go along. Hope you can make it back and watch this evolve. (did I spell that right?) Do you do cartooning?

Cart,

I really like the shelf fungus, very ingenious to put the candle on a "shelf".

I dont think its to much at all, its great! I think it does have a Disney feel to it. I would take that as a compliment. the whole scene looks very well put together. looking forward to the rest.

Oh I really do like this! I wish I could draw cartoons - they look so good - raise more than a few smiles
I like the armadillo foot stool in place of the head .. is he looking a tifle fed up? .. after all, he's in the draught, the magician isn't!!
Love the owl - I used to doodle them a LOT! - haven't for ages ... just reminded me
Looking forward to the colour version .. digi?
