Not sure of a title for this one either. Been busy in the studio the last few weeks. Another 10″x10″ on wood panel. (Acrylic and glass with a touch of polydimethylsiloxane)

I like all the layers and how you can see the deeper shaped through the orange pieces.
March 6, 2019 at 4:02 pm #793447Thanks much Cyndi! It was fun playing with different levels of transparency on this one. I think I may yet add some white texture to the white areas without changing the value much (or at all).

The blue is all very smooth, and although the orange has visual interest, it doesn’t appear really textured per se.

"keep your own time tickin"March 12, 2019 at 8:12 pm #793449Thanks Elinor. Actually, the orange is acrylic. The glass is tiny glass beads suspended in the pink acrylic gel for texture.

The shapes are holding attention..funny though for some reason I see this in sculpture form (whether that’s me or…) don’t know have you ever thought of sculpture ? the shapes and there relationships ie negative space and all that are intriguing here deffinatley you have a real talent there

March 22, 2019 at 4:30 am #793451Thanks tidal and JayJay,
Yeah, I keep thinking I’ll move into sculpture tidal. I have some affinity for visualizing in 3D from enjoying my engineering drawing classes at university, but making time for it never seems to hit my priority list. Some day…
