I've used the non-photo blue and it really helps me lay down the ground work for my illustrations. I've not used the red before. I may have to try that one.

Let me say this is an incredible piece. Very fun and imaginative. Makes me want to see what is going to happen next!! Your inking is very impressive as well. My only critique would be on the little color sample you did. The wall behind the wizard seemed a bit dark. A little contrast there and the Wizzy should pop ou of there!! hehe...anyways I can't wait to see your next installment.

I sure hope yer feel'n better too!!

wow I don't know what happened to this thread but this thread deserves for everyone to see what happened to this and how the color picture turned out so here it is, hope it meets every ones expectations? I believe at the time I was working on this picture I had a heart attack and then while recovering we had to move and life just got in the way and I totally forgot about this WIP. I apologize to all that were following this piece. I hope you can forgive me. I have since created tons of other art and posted through out the forums.

I've seen it before also, it was here, I remember a discussion of the song Wizard by Uriah Heep being involved in it.
It really is a charming artwork with so many wonderful details in it.
I love it!

Very nice. Reminds me of the wizard in the "Dragon Knight" books by Gordo Dickson.

thanks everyone hehe I was just looking thru some of my old threads and noticed that I dropped this thread for some reason and never finished it so I thought I would. I know I've used the art in other threads but this very thread was never finished. But hey thanks to everyone who stuck in there and waited lol sorry, six years is a while to wait.
