Shelduck's on Mersey Estuary

oils on board,size 15x39 inches.
The view is from Crosby dunes looking out past the old Radar tower to the River Mersey.it shows a group of 5 Shelducks flying down river to feed.the time is early morning.

It has a nice rhythmic quality, how our eyes go up and down with the birds, across the painting.

Think the duck's flight is really well done...(in particular...the whole painting appeals to me...but then, I love wildlife scenes...)

The shelducks are superb! I have never tried a panoramic composition. I think this one has excellent balance from the windmill on the left to the last bird in the frame. Thank you for sharing!

Well done and love the wide format too! The placement of the birds is a touchy business, I know and they feel natural. My only small comment would be the position of first on the left- it has a strong tangent to both the horizon and jetty.
