Fallen & Decayed

"Fallen & Decayed", Oil on Panel, 16x20 (40.6x50.8 centimeters)
On the surface this may appear to be nothing more than a meticulously rendered fallen log next to a foundation that is need of repair. However, the rotting log and vines creeping up the side of the house suggest that there is something more here than meets the eye. Is it the log that is fallen and decayed or is it something else? From the Decline of an Empire series. $20,000 - SOLD.

No Instagram... not a fan of Facebook or companies they own. If you would like to see all my work in super high-res, you can go to my site at Bendykowski.me. Thanks - Steve.
