Lena, check out the Watercolours links in my signature, you might find something useful in the Classes and Demos.

Re: Stitch in Time February 2019

My biggest problem is impatience.

I have a bunch of good books on it that I got when I was caregiving under the illusion that I could do that at the desk I made for myself in the livingroom. I got halfway through one.... and decided to stick to knitting.

I am doing the water colours more to play with and use to design my fabric art. Because I react to everything else I used to use. And to try and break through the block.

Lena, since the instructor didn't give you further critique after you told him what was "wrong" with the piece, you are doing fine. You could see what went wrong and can improve on the next painting. It's a lovely image of a day on the beach. He probably meant it as a compliment that the painting was good. Using watercolor to do fiber art is a great idea. Sigrun uses watercolor to make her rugs.

I worked on cleaning up the work space yesterday. I'm almost done. I was trying to find homes for all the stuff I brought home from the doll weekend. Then I really need to get onto re-making critters. The reason the studio space isn't done is I spent time making a new journal for myself. The one I'm working in is almost out of pages.

I've been approached by the buyer for an art gallery gift shop to sell my critters there thru consignment. I've been asking a ton of questions. Hopefully, we can come to an agreement soon. That'll be another place where I sell my critters.

Lena, the watercolor is very good!

Debby, that doll is so cute. I love her mouth. Hope it all works out with the gallery, that's wonderful. I was looking at your Etsy, your work is exquisite, I love it!
