Gouache

I set up this still life of some antique fishing items that belonged to a friends father.

As a kid I had an artificial minnow like this. I thought the action was good. I could never get the fish to agree.

The drawing including the box is really well done and the colors are nice. Seeing this is a particular pleasure for me. Gary

I like the genuine set up and resulting composition. Well painted. Also invokes memories for me. I havenít fished in quite awhile.

Wow - instant nostalgia! Marvelous painting, which evokes memories of the mouth-watering product illustrations in catalogs back in the day. Nice execution of the box graphics and lettering, too, very clean and very pretty!
