I'M NOT AS THINK AS YOU DRUNK I AMOctober 9, 2019 at 12:28 am #892620Nice work Michael I can almost hear those bush flies coming!
October 9, 2019 at 6:49 am #892619All of these are fantastic Michael! My favorite is lilac landscape. Love the intensity of your colors in these.

October 9, 2019 at 2:06 pm #892608Superb. You handle minimal brushwork on those trees so very well. Also, your scraping clouds punctuate in such a glorious way. The lower heavyness of strokes and texture I get from Red Gorge have to be my absolute favorite individual element, but that could only work so well if there’s something for that to play off. And sure enough; there is!
Just loving these.

One thing: I am a bit tired of scrolling up and down to try and decide a favourite! ‘Colors of the Karijini’ has those beautiful red mountains which contrasts so well against those gorgeous green trees and the super fg. I love the feeling of depth you have created in Red Gorge. Beautiful muted tones in Lilac Landscape, and Two Trees is striking. Kimberely Colors has those wonderful hills(?) in the background – what beautiful earthy colours. Overall a tie between 1 and 3.
PS you see I told you it was too much scrolling: just realised I missed the second one, with it unusual colour combinations on the rocks, which work so well. Excellent!

October 11, 2019 at 3:15 am #892613Thanks Kiffin – Re – Nice work Michael I can almost hear those bush flies coming!
Both you & I know all about the flies here being West Aussies – Appreciate Your Comments !Thankyou Wes – Re – My favorite is lilac landscape – This one was the quickest to paint as it all went according to plan, which is not always the case. I will select a silver frame for it.
Thanks Munin – Re – You handle minimal brushwork on those trees so very well. I used a brush for the trees initially, then, using thicker paint, applied a knife over the brushwork – Hopefully it worked – Appreciated !
Thankyou Heather – Re – I find “Red Gorge” particularly appealing, – My wife’s favorite also – Appreciated !
Thankyou Biz – Re – Michael what a superb collection! One thing: I am a bit tired of scrolling up and down to try and decide a favourite! – I certainly had fun with this series & feel the urge to paint more – Appreciated !
Thanks egohan – Re – Wow, great variety and yet all the same distinctive style – I am liking the palette knife lately as it seems to create effects than cannot be achieved by brush alone – Appreciate your comments !
Thanks Again.

I'M NOT AS THINK AS YOU DRUNK I AMOctober 11, 2019 at 4:31 am #892611These are beautiful Michael. The knife work is nicely done, plenty of movement and spontaneity. The colour combinations are pleasing and varied. Its annoying having to scroll down to view them – one needs to see them together on a wall to appreciated them properly.
ArnieOctober 11, 2019 at 8:33 pm #892614Thankyou Arnie – Appreciated !

I'M NOT AS THINK AS YOU DRUNK I AMOctober 13, 2019 at 11:06 am #892609The strong colors, scattered clouds, and dancing trees all speak of your distinctive style and the wonders of Australia. Red Gorge and Two Trees are probably my favorites, but they are all wonderful!
