It is a novel based on all the thinks you mentioned. Sail ships in the air Modern conveniences but steam powered ..like elevators. The main character is in an airship accident as a teen and has a mechanical arm that leaks oil. The plot is about a naive innocent with great skills who gets involved in politics. Not a great novel but a fun read more fascinated by the world the author creates than the story line. Like it enough to get the sequel (Note both were Free on Kindle)

That sounds interesting! What's the title or author? I don't have a Kindle, but I have a library Wow, an arm that leaks oil. That's a sentence I haven't read before

Jo, thanks. Your pastels are always so nice. Love it! I'm glad it survived the fire

Pine Cone, no, we don't sketch together, but he likes drawing dinosaurs. And he was given a dinosaurs coloring book as a Christmas present from his favorite uncle . My cat a painter , uhmm, I don't think so but she could be a carver or an engraver she has the right tools.

Joe, great pot. Loose and retaining attention to details, like in the joints between the handles and the pot. Love it!

Everybody, thank you very much for making of this a lovely event. See you all in the next one, it has already started and looks very promising

I think the cover art helped suck me in.

Jo you combined two of my loves.
1 NA pottery. The pot is beautiful
2 your pastels..also beautiful.
The lighting and shadow all perfect.

Hoping and praying you will not ‘scrub” it

Joe

Not much time to comment here this morning. Love all the conversation and fun. Thanks individuo for a fun hunt.

Joe the big pot is really good and nicely formed. You are getting the idea. :-) Gene said to tell you the 6months or so at Singer Frieden was his worst time. White shirts, necktie, 8 - 5 .... not his cup of tea. Workers piddled all day then put in overtime to finish. He worked to finish and go home .. was not popular with his buddies. Anyway....

Off to the next Hunt. See all y'all later...
