Almost qualifies as a Miniature Art by a few inches too long. I posted a shorter version that does on that Forum.

Based on several photos of the sunset overlooking Pebble Beach from the deck of our friend’s deck. They have this 8,000 square foot house overlooking Pebble Beach Golf Likns for just the two of them. He anI have been work asociates and golfing buddies for over fifty years, The last tiem we visited them I took several photos from thier upper deck and thought this would be a good composition. I painted it to use as the painting for his wife’s birthday card this year and will send the framed painting to her as a present.

I went to the Pastel Forum to take a look.

It is a very inviting painting. I bet she will love it as a gift.

Great colors in the sky and love the backlighting Herm! Pebble Beach is a special place and iconic. I took my Dad out there in 2008 for his retirement gift and we played all of the courses (except Cypress Point which would be my dream to play someday)… We had a very calm day and scored very well on Pebble. Spyglass was another issue… It was windy and played all the way back. It tore me up for sure….

Very nice pastel pencil work. Lovely mood and look. Great idea about using it as a card then presenting them with the painting.
