My inspiration is art... because without art, we would just be stuck with reality. ~Daniel R. Lynch
March 7, 2020 at 12:28 pm #957041Thanks for the encouraging comments. I’m involved in running two different Figure Drawing groups here in WA St. USA, both of them are bordering out breaks of the Crona Virus, businesses like Facebook and Google and Schools are are asking people not to come in, our art center in Kirkland has postponed classes and advised us (three of us run that group) that it was up to our best judgement if we should continue until this blows over. A bit perplexed what to do…. might not have another session after the one tomorrow, who knows?

I am so sorry for the situation. I hope that normalcy will return as soon as possible. wish and that everything will return soon.
I don’t know what to say except that I hope you can dedicate yourself very soon to your beautiful art and to groups normally.in Italy all schools and universities have closed (no furio activities from school or private, associations or the like, or religious functions etc.) until March 15 and had been circumscribed for weeks, putting in isolation a country with various counts (while for the the rest advised hand washing, reduced or avoided movements for the people considered more at risk in case of infection).
but things are in the making and other things were being limited, possibly from area to area.
today, in fact, the red zone no longer concerns the country but has moved to the regions and there are harsher, more restrictive directives than the previous decrees, also on the movements, etc. in Milan for voices related to the new measures.today is 8 march.
however, in spite of this, I hope that today she is happy for all women

March 9, 2020 at 3:17 pm #957040I like the simplified shapes of the shadow areas down the left side of the face (as we look) in particular. I know exactly what you mean about the coronavirus. I’ve been asked my opinion about the sessions I help run and am worried particularly as they are mostly senior citizens and many have health problems. I am also worried that the UK government is not taking it seriously and are taken actions based on economic rather than health reasons. Sorry for the rant.
Nathan.
C&C always appreciated.
My art on InstagramMarch 9, 2020 at 4:07 pm #957042Nathan – I like the blue lacy undergarment that is partially exposed and has a bit of detail. I just officially shut down one of the drawing sessions, the model that was supposed to work for us told me that all of his bookings for the week have been cancelled. Waiting to hear back on our other venue.
June 27, 2020 at 4:28 pm #1304272I’m not seeing an image here to comment on,
but as far as the group situation goes, we had strict government guidelines to follow here, and only recently have restrictions been eased. My life drawing group is in the local university (which still has not resumed live classes) and we had to submit a plan on how exactly we were going to implement sanitization, social distancing etc. before we were allowed back. Part of the plan is a sign in register with contact numbers, and a personal commitment form to be signed by each member to follow guidelines.
