my thought is to subdue everything to the white rushing water, will see how that turns out!

January 22, 2020 at 8:05 pm #936245I like the first one the best, you did a great job with the contrast in the water’s bright reflection against the shadows of the plants. Having a good contrast with the water and the rest of the composition helps amplify that mirror effect of the water, making it look more realistic. I see what you’re doing with the addition of paint: it looks good so far. I think for the final stages with the plants, add more highlights, like a few bright greens here and there to add more three dimensional depth.
