John, this one really grabs the viewer and keeps us looking! What a powerful and dramatic scene. I can feel the rumble of their hoofbeats just looking at this. I love the warm colors as well. This is extraordinary!

KJSieloff Howdy and thank you for liking this. The actual size of this painting is 16″x48″ it would look great in a living room setting. Specially in Texas or Arizona! Thanks for commenting

Jo Castillo Hey Jo, Glad you liked the steers. It was fun to paint. this painting is painted over a gessoed canvas with latex house paint mixed with a japan dryer to slow down the cure time of the flat latex. I took a digital of it and kinda played with the lighting a bit for prints but it turned out ok. Still it was fun to paint. I love using house paint. its cheep enough I can paint forever, just use a tint base and a color tint wrack I am experimenting and trying to get a watercolor feel with them but haven’t succeeded yet. oh well back to the drawing board so to speak lol

Love the “in your face” nature of this painting. They sure look intimidating.
